Technologies and Micromachining for Virtual Prototyping

The course is structured around the following pedagogical objectives:

  • to enable participants to use micromachining and additive technologies for efficient prototyping;
  • to present advanced micromachining and additive manufacturing techniques and their fields of application;
  • to apply these technologies to prototyping and design optimization;
  • to provide hands-on practice with industry tools and equipment.

Participants will gain practical experience in moving from virtual design to physical prototype using micromachining and additive manufacturing. The course prepares participants for roles in precision engineering, prototyping and high-tech manufacturing.
